Gas Tight Doors
European EMC Products manufacture high performance steel, knife edge, Gas Tight Doors and frame sets using closed cell neoprene gasket as the sealing agent. These doors are designed for high specification commercial and military applications which also require robust design, wash down capability and easy change of seals
- The knife edge contacts are on the door leaf.
- Door leaves are galvanised steel with a paint finish. Colour to be advised.
- Door frame is designed for bolting into the shielded room frame. Sealing gasket is included.
- 3 no. plated steel door hinges ensure a smooth operating action.
- Manual 2-point latching system.
- All types of locks and monitoring equipment can be integrated if required.
- NBC (Nuclear Biological Chemical) capabilities.
Manufacture and Installation
All doors are fabricated in our modern factory in Saffron Walden, United Kingdom. EEP have their own installation personnel and supervisors to ensure installation is carried out quickly and effectively. In addition, we also offer a maintenance and spares support service worldwide.
Leakage rate defined as litres of air per linear metre of door seal per hour, i.e. a 2mH x 1mW door has 6 linear metres of seal.
